Our pricing philosophy
At Fuel Log, we believe that a vehicle management tool should be accessible to everyone, without financial barriers. That is why we have chosen a radically different model from competing apps that charge between CHF 3 and CHF 8 per month for similar features.
Why is Fuel Log free? Because tracking your fuel consumption should not be a luxury. In Switzerland, where the average cost of a car exceeds CHF 750 per month, every driver deserves a tool to understand and control their expenses. The discreet advertisements displayed in the app are enough to cover hosting and development costs.
Donation, not subscription. If you appreciate Fuel Log and want to support us, a one-time donation from CHF 12 gives you permanent benefits: no ads and unlimited vehicles. No automatic renewal, no unpleasant surprises on your bank statement. One payment, lasting benefits. That is our way of thanking those who believe in the project.
AI Scan: under development. We are currently working on an artificial intelligence recognition feature that will allow you to scan your receipts, odometers and fuel pumps. During the development phase, this feature is offered free of charge to our Supporters. Eventually, it will be available as a subscription at a price yet to be determined.
Full transparency. Your data is never sold to third parties. We do not monetise your driving habits. The only revenue for Fuel Log comes from advertisements and voluntary donations. Your personal information stays in Switzerland, on Infomaniak servers in Geneva, and you can export or delete it at any time.
